Before I begin to explain a little what I do and why I decided to do it, I will introduce myself: I am Yaiza Alvarez Ramos and I am one of the many people who left their country to live abroad, in my case United Kingdom. I have always felt special attraction for crafts (it may be because of the patience I have, at least that’s what they say). I am currently working part-time in a company of which the best thing, as I always say, are the people I have been meeting in just over 1 year and 5 months. But being honest, it was always my desire to start and have my small business, so small that I only ones works. I had a time in which I started to see full tutorials on sublimation and I fell in love not only for the technique itself, but for the diversity of items that can be sublimated and thus reach more people with different needs and I said to myself what not to try? And recently I started. Well, I tried it and my first sublimated mug I gave it to my great friend Nasima, I took it to work and she loved it. From there people started to get interested and I created new ideas, for example, for the people to whom I could deliver the item, instead of delivering the mug in its box, why not give it as gifts? People loves the idea of mugs presented with sweets or teddys inside and from there, Wika Creations was born. Why the name of Wika? Who knows me can guess easily, but who can not, I can explain that it is the combination of the names of my children. Wika Creations was born with the idea of offering different items to people and business with the utmost dedication and professionalism and offering a friendly customer service. Not only do I work with the sublimation technique but I also work with the decoupage technique for the case of the personalization of candles. This officially begins and little by little I will start adding more products to personalise. I hope that we are more and more and that this adventure reaches the best port.
